Pumpkin Green Smoothie

Get your greens and eat your pumpkin pie too! Makes one massive smoothie or two small ones.

12 ounces liquid (Brazil nut milk, coconut milk, almond milk, hemp milk, coconut water, water/ice, or some combo thereof)
2 cups frozen kale or leafy greens (or less if you want a more dessert-y drink)
1 banana fresh or frozen
1 cup puréed pumpkin
1 scoop protein powder and/or several tablespoons of pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, ground flaxseed
Several dates and/or maple syrup to taste
A few drops of vanilla
Spices: pumpkin pie spice and/or cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, allspice…

Throw it all in your blender (liquid first). Blend, enjoy!!!

    I make pumpkin smoothies but I’ve been afraid to add greens! This sounds pretty good – it’ll be my pre-workout shake tomorrow!
